Virtual server showing "RED" when the self ip is created .
Hi, I have deployed VE of F5 in Cisco CSP 2100. I can successfully able to login to F5. I created nodes and assigned to pool and created virtual servers. The Virtual server was showing me Green. Since the management vlan is different from server vlan, i created server range vlan and created a self ip in the same vlan range.
The moment i create self ip, the server is showing red and i am not able to ping the server from f5. when i deleted the self ip the server is showing green.
Can someone help me how to solve this issue.
Thanks Sriram

Hi,
Can you confirm that you create a default route in LTM (because when you created a selfip, business flow to reach your node pass trough your selfIP and you have to set your default route as you done for management IP).
Then check FW flow between your new selfIP and your node.
You can process a tcpdump in orde to see what's happening.
tcpdump -nni 0.0 host SELFIP and host NODEIP
keep me update.
Regards
