Virtual server port(1883) doesn't work

I have created a virtual server with 1883 port, and the system displays that it is OK, but when I try to telnet that port from internet, it is failed. I login to F5 big-ip and run 'netstat -ant|grep ...

Hi,

 

netstat returns only listening ports to linux system. all virtual servers are handled by TMOS and not bound to linux system.

 

what is the behavior when trying to connect with telnet? is the connection established but no data?
