Hi,
I'm facing issue with virtual server status on one GTM in GTM sync group. Topology We have two GTM at two locations. Location A GTM have LTM and GTM both. Location B have only GTM. Location A is using prober pool, prober pool include location A GTM/LTM server object. Due to proper pool Location A virtual server health is monitored by Location A F5 only, Location B GTM is getting location A virtual server health status from Location A LTM/GTM. All Server object we have assinged bigip health monitor, there are no specific monitor on Virtual Server
Problem on location A GTM all the Virtual server of Location A LTM are UP, but on location B GTM virtual server are down due to no reply from big3d. of Location A GTM. But if we assign TCP health monitor specific to virtual server(Location A LTM), then Virtual server are shown UP on both location GTM.
Observation We can see both location have mesh with 4353 for iquery communication.
Why is virtual server showing down when bigip is just used at server object level, but virtual server is UP when tcp is assigned on virtual server.

Can you share the logs of GTM B marking the VS down, is your big3d versions running same on both GTM's ?

- Are the GTM and LTM defined in prober pool able to communicate via 4353 port to the VS on Location B?
- can you provide the config of the VS configured on the B GTM?
- i hope the VS being monitored on the GTM via the Bigip monitor is hosted on on a LTM
