Hi Aquib, you need to configure your web server for "virtual hosts". You didn't specify what kind of web server you have, but most modern servers have this setting. The virtual host and tcp port number should match the DNS FDQN of your VS on BIG-IP.

  • Does the expected page load in the browser window? Are the client and the server on the same network together?
  • It may be hard coded links in your http code. We used stream profiles to rewrite the pages on the F5.

  • I agree with Andrew. It could be links on the site. Also some apps have been known to issue http redirects to the server IP instead of hostname. If this is a redirect issue you can use the "redirect rewrite:node" setting in the http profile. This will cause the LTM to change the node ip to the vip in the redirect.
