VIPRION LACP - interface Bundling
I'm looking at the config on VIPRION PB200 blade and noticed the interface config indicates that it doesn't support bundling.
Can anyone confirm if this is supported, or what does this config mean?
net interface 1/1.2 { app-service none bundle not-supported description none enabled flow-control tx-rx force-gigabit-fiber disabled interface-index 529 lldp-admin txonly lldp-tlvmap 130943

I'm not really sure what it means by bundling. Because port-channels (F5 Trunks) are supported and work fine.

I'm really after a clear answer on why under the inTerface config it show "bundle not supported".
I hear and aware we support LACP, but what's with the config line?
Reason is we are seeing intermittent LACP issues, causing other failures in back to back config between two Viprions.

i think that bundle is for QSFP+ (40GbE) interfaces.

Yes Nitass, also for B2250 into Viprion C2400. So, what is the main difference between LACP and Bundle interfaces? Configuration about this is different from 11.4.1 (LACP mode only) and 11.5.1 (both LACP and Bundle)

what is port on the other side? if QSFP, i think bundle configuration is preferred. otherwise, you can unbundle it and use it as 4 x 10g ports.
David_MartinBundle a 40gbps interface allow you to use a 40gb link with the device on the other side of the mpo fiber. You must have a switch or router with this kind of interface available.
Using lacp allow you to join several 10gb fiber if you don't have a qsfp+ device on the other end. Also, theoricallity and lacp trunk is really limited to 10gbps for each point to point connection. I mean, lacp protocol choose the trunk interface to use for a flow based on ips or macs. For all the flows from one source to one specific destination, all packets will traverse only one interface so you are limited each interface bandwidth.
I think it's better to use bundle if you have 40gbps capable devices
