viprion blades for running ASM module

We have an HA pair of single-B2100 Viprion 2400's running only LTM. We intend to add ASM but wonder what blades would be best overall.

 

We have two options: replace the B2100 with a single B2250, or add a B2100. On paper, it looks like the B2250 has lots more memory, many more ports and an SSD but otherwise is about 2X the B2100 stats. Any F5'ers with advice/gotchas?

    I'm running LTM+ASM on B2100 blades and it works well. I wanted to add AAM as well, but F5 said we'd have to upgrade to the B2150 blades with SSD's to support it.

      Thank you Nick. I had heard from our SE that the xx50 blades all have SSDs and were created to assist with the load produced by ASM and friends. /P
