Vip SNAT

I am looking at an iRule that uses the "snat VIPsnat" statement. Is this statement saying to use the VIP as the source address for the SNAT translation?

Thanks.

    snat <addr> [<port>] | none | automap

    • Causes the system to assign the specified translation address to the serverside connection.

"snat VIPsnat" - if the "VIPsnat" is an IP address of a VIP, then yes, the VIP's virtual address will be used as the source IP towards the serverside (during loadbalancing)
