VIP limitations

Greetings,

We're running redundant Big-IP LTMs (6900 series), version 9.4.7. Is there a limitation to the number of virtual servers and/or nodes that can be configured on the LTM?

I've looked through some data sheets and spec sheets and could only find the maximum traffic throughput, etc. I wouldn't believe that there is a limitation, outside of the IP address space available on the specific VLAN.

    Hi,

There aren't any hardcoded limits to the number of objects that can be configured on any LTM platform. The practical limit is dependent on quite a few metrics like memory, load and monitoring of pool members, etc.
