Jun 03, 2010Very New to F5
Hello. I am new to F5 and I'd like to know where would be a good place to start learning about this product. I am about to start working on this product a great deal due to an upcoming departure in our company. Is there a particular guide or a good starting point that some of you veterans out there can recommend? My background is all Cisco, so I'm not new to networking just new to F5s.

Hello there,
your best place to start would be a training course run either by f5 or by your reseller on the products(s) you're interested in.
If you can access Ask f5, ( I don't think there's any restrictions on registering) there's numerous manuals and best practice articles there which are also very useful. Also it helps ALOT to have a lab unit to mess around with!
I hope this is of some help but if you need more specifics don't be afraid to ask! - Mohammed_Ali_63

Mohammed - tech.f5.com is very useful. You can find deployment guides as well as solution articles.
