Hello. I don't think SHA256 works as a file check in F5 APM (assuming that is what you are using) but MD5 checksum is supported. Info on APM file checks is here. Also I am not sure what the capability is of the Linux client but if they have a web browser you could use personal certificates for authentication / validation?
