Using other user than root and admin to authenticate locally when using remote LDAP authentication

Hi,

I have LDAP auth enabled with remote role groups in place. I would like to know if a local user, except admin and root will still be able to login when ldap authentication is enabled. If not, is there any way to overcome this?

Regards, Liviu

  • No, their is not. When you create a user on the BIGIP in this configuration their is no longer an option to set a password. See K13456 regarding this.
