using nodes between partitions
I have a couple of partitions on the LTM. I am not able to use nodes between the partitions. If I am in one partition, nodes from other partitions are not visible. But when I try to create a pool with a node from another partition, they are conflicting. I am using bigip 11.2.1.

i am afraid you have to create node in common and reference it from another partition.

I have one more issue with nodes and partitions. There are some custom monitors that I am not able to apply to nodes in any partition. Only the default monitors are listing even for nodes in the same partition, none of the custom monitors like smtp and ldap. Wasn't able to do this even from tmsh.

To assign a service checking monitor to a node the monitor must have a port number assigned in its "alias service port" field. Nodes do not have any assigned port number so the monitor needs to be told what port to connect to.

Hi,
You can try to delete your custom monitors from a specific partition and then recreated in the Common Partition. Then you can use your custom monitors in every partition.
