Using irule for branch selection in APM?
hi out there
Is it possibly to create a single APM policy where I in the APM policy do a branch selection to different pools - depending on f.ex the URL called (eg: host-1.test.local and host-2.test.local ) will cause it to use a branch in the policy for either host-1 or host-2
best regards /ti

Hi, You could do it with the "Endpoint Security(Server-Side)" for the option Landing URI. This will let you do it on the landing uri but not on the whole URL.
The most flexible is to use the "General Purpose" "Empty" policy object and add your own branching rules based of session.server.landinguri and session.network.name, session.network.port

what I want to achive is that I from a single ip adresse with multiple URL's assigned can go to different APM policys. Since I only can assign one APM policy to a VS (as far as I know) I need to be able to branch to different paths based on the URL I have been called with - f.ex host-1.test.local could need an interactiv logon page whereas host-2.test.local could be used with certificate authentication - is this possibly in a simple way or does it sound as if I am on a path here? - tiwang

Greetings,
I have the same requirement but my URIs are the same on different URLs.
Is there anyway to do the same function on the URL?
Setup: 2+URLs -> 1 Virtual -> 1 Policy -> need to filter across multiple branches based on URLs.
Any suggestion is appreciated.
Thank you.
