User management via iControl

I was hoping someone might be able to help me understand where I am going wrong while attempting to use iControl to manage local user accounts on an f5 device. My problem is that I am able to successfully create the local user account and subsequently login into the CLI using the new admin level account but I am unable to use the same credentials to sign into the management GUI. I get the following error message:

 

 

server could not verify that you are authorized to access the URL "/tmui/tmui/system/settings/redirect.jsp

 

 

I have uploaded a trimmed down version of a script I am using to add a local user to a device so people can get an idea of what I am actually doing.
