Use of /var/log/monitors? Include to logrotate?

Hi, i´m getting the following error message on one of my clsuter nodes: 011d0004: Disk partition var_log has only 0% free Jul 15 12:01:03 lb1 emerg alertd[6804]: 01100048:0: Log disk usage still high...

So here's what I found, in the /var/log/monitors directory, there was a file that had taken up all the space. It appeared to be a monitor for one of my nodes, I may have inadvertently enabled http monitoring on one of the backend nodes by mistake.
