USe F5 to redirect https Traffic

Does anyone know of a clean way for a user that makes an https://mywebsite.com and be passed to two weh servers listens on another secure port.

    from https://mywebsite.com to http://mywebsite.com:8443

    https://mywebsite.com:8443 or another secure port. I appreciate you

  • If the we servers are listening on a different port going through the vip you could create a vip listening on 443 and then a pool of the 2 webservers on another secure port. The F5 will translate the port without using an iRule. From the client perspective it will look like https://mywebstie.com

     

     

    i.E. VIP:443 ---> web server1:8443

  • It shouldn't be slow if you port translate. Is the LTM experiencing heavy CPU, memory, etc?

  • Well that all depends on the LTM model and version you are running + the traffic. Do you know what process is taking up memory and CPU?
