Hi,
If www.abcd.com.au resolves to a VIP address on the BIG-IP, can you set the pool on the VIP to a pool containing the web server? I'm not sure what you're trying to do beyond standard load balancing. When a client requests www.abcd.com.au, what do you want to happen?

To configure the BIG-IP to route requests to a fully qualified domain like www.abcd.com.au, you'd need to make sure the domain resolves to an IP address the BIG-IP owns. You'd then set up a pool with the web server IP and port. Then create a VIP which has the pool set as the default pool. If the default gateway on the web server is not set to the BIG-IP's floating self IP, you'd want to enable SNAT on the VIP as well.
This is described in much more detail in the LTM configuration guide on AskF5.com.

You can create a login for AskF5 with just an email address (Click here). The LTM configuration guide for your version explains how to set up a pool and virtual server (VIP). To find out what version you're running, check under System | General Properties.
Here are two bigpipe commands you can run at the command line of the BIG-IP (or via the GUI under System | Console) to create a pool and a virtual server. It may not be the exact configuration you require, but it should get you started:
b pool www.abcd.com.au_pool { member 10.1.1.1:80 }
b virtual www.abcd.com.au_vip { destination 192.168.1.1:80 snat automap ip protocol tcp profile http pool www.abcd.com.au_pool }
You can then modify the configuration through the GUI under Local Traffic >> Pools and Virtual Servers. As I mentioned before, you should read up in the configuration guide for more information.

thanks mate for your great help... I just want to ask you one more question that you have mentioned IP address 10.1.1.1. I think which is related to my Web server but I am not sure about destination IP address 192.168.1.1. Which IP address it would be? It might be bit stupid question but I am really confused so asking you couple of questions. I am going through GUI only so I will go through your given guidance and of course AskF5 LTM configuration guide... - Ravi_110217

b virtual www.abcd.com.au_vip { destination 192.168.1.1:80 snat automap ip protocol tcp profile http pool www.abcd.com.au_pool }
this create a virtual server which name is www.abcd.com.au_vip listening on IP 192.168.1.1 port 80 with snat automap activated and its pool is www.abcd.com.au_pool - Ravi_110217

I'm really confused with your given answer.. Sorry to bother you but before I start any configuration on F5 device, I want to confirm everything fist.
My client want me to redirect following URL on to one of their web server. Web server IP address is 10.x.x.x.
URL= https://www.abcd.com.au to redirect on to internal web server (IP address: 10.x.x.x)...
Now can you tell what do you mean by destination 192.168.1.1 .... I really dont understand this statement.... I fairly new person for F5 devise...
Thanks for your quick response... - Ravi_110217
