URI contails '$' causing TCL error

I am seeing the following TCL error because the URI of the requests contail a '$'.

 

Here is the request that triggers the error:

 

http://mysite.com/w/title1/1118882398?om_mid=_BUlC9pB8$YuS1T&om_swid=AAT9HF

 

LTM log:

 

local0 err tmm5[12983]: 01220001:3: TCL error: /Common/redirect-rule - can't read "YuS1T": no such variable

 

I need to know how to have the iRule not treat this is a variable.
