NimbostratusUpgrading the F5 LTM's to 6900
Hi,
We are planning to upgrade the existing big-ip 3600 to 6900.
Is it recommended to use the same configuration file archived from the 3600 and install in 6900 ?

In that case if the 6900s are going to be given the same name as the 3600s then use a UCS archive and this will include all you need. Make sure you use the UCS file from the system it's replacing, so in a HA pair you will have 2 UCS files. That's because if they have different names it only imports the shared config and you will want all the config from one to the other.
To transfer the SSL certs, by the way, local traffic - ssl certificates and then highlight them and click Archive - then on the new box import them (I think!).
