Upgrading interconnects for higher capacity.
I was hoping to reach out to my brethren here on devcentral and ask the question does anyone have any best practices, gotcha's or tips and tricks they've learned from migrating to a higher throughput interconnect for an HA pair.
We are looking to migrate our interconnects over to 10Gbps on our Viprion 2400 platforms because we're reaching capacity on the current GigE links. Each blade has one interconnect to its peer blade in a separate chassis. The Chassis themselves are standalone. Since the interconnects are part of the HA configuration for all the guests on the chassis I'm worried adding/removing links in the trunk configuration of the chassis may cause the guests to think their peer's are offline, potentially causing a failover or active/active condition.
Could it really be as simple as just adding the new interfaces to the trunk and once satisfied, removing the old?

what about forcing offline one guest before upgrading?
