Update Sharepoint f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010 iApp to f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010 _2013.v1.1.0
We installed the f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010 _2013.v1.1.0 template and ran reconfigure from our existing iApp Sharepoint f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010. When I click finish we get the following error which I don't understand, does any one have any recommendations?
script did not successfully complete: (can't read "::server__discourage_ntlm": no such variable while executing "subst $substa_out" invoked from within "if { [info exists [set substa_in]] } { set substa_out [subst $$substa_in] set substa_out [subst $substa_out] } else { ..." Would it be possible to reconfigure the iApp without changing to the new template, then try reconfiguring to the new template and post the sanitized contents of /var/tmp/scriptd.out? I'm interested in the list of arrays and their values for both iApp runs. Should look something like this:
main(0,0,0) vlan_arr(0,0)* snatpool_arr(1,1,0) persist_arr(0,0,0,0) persist_cmd(/cookie) firewall_arr(1,0,0) ip_intelligence_arr(1,0,0,1,policy) pool_arr(1,0) pool_ramp_pga_arr(0,0,0)* pool_lb_queue_arr(0,0,0)* monitor_arr(1,1,0) send_string_arr(0,0,0)* irule_arr(0) asm_policy(0,0) client_tcp_arr(1,wan)* best_tcp_profile(wan,lan) best_tcp_profile(wan,lan) server_tcp_arr(1,lan)* best_tcp_profile(lan,wan) best_tcp_profile(lan,wan) http_arr(0,1,0) client_ssl_arr(0,1,0)* server_ssl_arr(0,1)* isession_arr(0,0,0)* ip_intelligence_arr(1,0,0,1,profile)* compress_arr(1,1) caching_arr(1,1,1) wam_arr(0,0,0) oneconnect_arr(1,1,1) ntlm_arr(1,0,0) ntlm_cmd(/create_new) analytics_arr(0,0)* logging_arr(0) vs_arr(0,1)* - _NAME_3

I just hit reconfigure using the same template which also error'd out. We have updated the OS since the iApp was configured maybe the OS update broke it? Here is the error info from reconfigure on the existing template:

looking at the scriptd.out file after the attempted reconfigure the latest entry has the following

- mikeshimkus_111Historic F5 AccountI just need to know which choices you made in the iApp when you reconfigured. What did you choose for SharePoint version, OneConnect profile, and NTLM profile? The ::server__discourage_ntlm variable is not present but is expected, that's what's causing the error.

yesterday day I used the existing template that was used to deploy the iApp in the first place f5.microsoftsharepoint_2010, One Connect - "Create Profile Based on the onconnect parent (recommended)", NTLM profile "ntlm" which has Cookie Name "NTMLconnpool" passphrase "****" Cookie Name "mycookie" Key By NTLM User - "checked"

Apparently we have this same issue. - mikeshimkus_111Historic F5 AccountThe issue of trying to upgrade from f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010 to f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010_2013, but getting the "can't read "::server__discourage_ntlm" error? I've tried to reproduce this, but without knowing what choices were made in the iApp it, I haven't been able to do it. The simplest way to work around this is to create a new iApp deployment using the f5.microsoft_sharepoint_2010_2013 template with a different virtual server IP address. In a maintenance window, you can then delete the old iApp and reconfigure the new iApp using the virtual server IP from the production instance. This will prevent IP conflicts between the deployments.
