Update cert in host or guest?
Hi We are going to update cert for our F5. I notice the host contains several guests. Do you think which one we need to update? Or Is the cert specific to guest or host? Thank you

Update the certs on the vcmp guests.

Thank you for your fast reply. So if there are three guests in the host, I need to update three times in three guests, separately, right?

Cirrus
Correct. Certificates don't inherit from host to guest.

That also means the host do not need to cert? and one same cert can work for all guests in the same host?

"but you should not run the hosts in an HA pair"
We always need to run F5 in HA pair. so what you mean is the we do not run the two hosts in HA pair, but we can run their gusts in HA, right? and leave the two hosts in Standalone(Active), separately?

Cirrus
Exactly. Handle your HA at the guest level, but run the hosts Standalone.
