Update BigIP LTM 4000 from Ver. 11.4.1 to Ver. 11.6.0 HF1

Dear all,   in order to update our active/standby devices from 11.4.1 to 11.6 HF1   we followed these steps for the standby 4000:     1. Reactivation of license ie The Service Check date...

SOLVED!

 

From 11.4.1 we updated FIRST to 11.6

 

From 11.6.0 we updated THEN to 11.6HF1

 

Our former procedure from 11.4.1 DIRECTLY to 11.6HF1 failed

 

Next step is to force the active 11.4.1 into standby - the actual

 

standby will become active (we hope...) and to repeat the same

 

procedure.
