Unstable F5 device with it's Peer

Hi

 

I have two F5 BigIp4000 running in cluster mode as Active/Standby mode. i noticed that the active device is showing disconnect and connect behaviour with it's peer. the LTM logs are : from the Active node: CMI reconnect timer: enabled Attempting to connect to CMI peer 192.168.255.254 port 6699 CMI peer connection established to 192.168.255.254 port 6699 CMI reconnect timer: disabled, all peers are connected Connection to CMI peer 192.168.255.254 has been removed CMI reconnect timer: enabled Attempting to connect to CMI peer 192.168.255.254 port 6699 CMI peer connection established to 192.168.255.254 port 6699 CMI reconnect timer: disabled, all peers are connected Connection to CMI peer 192.168.255.254 has been removed

 

from the standby node:

 

Aggressive mode sweeper: 1 Connections killed Aggressive mode sweeper: 3 Connections killed Aggressive mode sweeper: 1 Connections killed

 

the automatic sync is enabled,

 

please i need your help to solve this issue.

  • if this is a critical system and you have support i would advise you to contact F5 support and open a ticket.

     

    if you want to trouble shoot via this place then i would first go to through the trouble shooting SOL about sync issue. it seems that for some reason your systems don't communicate any more.

    the aggressive mode sweeper might indication heavy load / many sessions on the standby node.
