Unable to install hot fix

thats the reason i wanted to check if there is a way to successfully install the HF in the inactive partition without having to format the disk and do LVM.

i am unable to install hf9 (build 855.0) but engineering hotfix for ID485936 (build 855.15).

ID485936 10.2.4 HF9 rollup breaks support for partitioned disk format
