Unable to access Management GUI using IE
I am unable to access my Active LTM using IE. It just tries for a long time and gives a time out. However, my Standby LTM works fine with the same browser.
Pls help..

Are you having the same problem with other browsers? What about the iRule editor? Can you connect to both the active and inactive system?

it depends on your IE version and your LTM version, look into release notes. But you should allways use the irule editor to change irules.

Hi Torti,
I am not trying to change the irules. All i need is access the GUI. Both the LTMs are running the same TMM version and i am able to access one and not able to access the other.
What could be the possible reason or how could i troubleshoot this issue ?

The iRule editor uses HTTPS to communicate with the BIG-IPs. It would therefore provide a good way to test connectivity to both BIG-IPs.
To get the root cause, I would check the status of httpd and tomcat service.
bigstart status httpd bigstart status tomcatrun "top" to see memory utilization/cpu by these process. check httpd log and catalina.log
To Resolve, Restarting httpd and tomcat service has fixed most of issues for me.
bigstart restart httpd bigstart restart tomcat
