two nodes from different partitions can be used on one pool?

Hi

 

i created a pool pool_1 and assign one node from partition X and partion Y. when accesing the application using VIP doesnt work.

 

please advise if pool can work with two nodes from different partitions?

    i am new to F5 device. one node was created before so i addded another node but from different partition

    I think this is possible if the referenced object i.e. node is in the same partition as the pool OR is in the Common partition (i.e. not in another partition).
