Turning DST (daylight save time) off

Hi all,     I have a loadbalnacer working on Redhat Linux OS.     I tried to turnoff DST (daylight time save) but I didn't know how.     I wanted to modify /usr/share/zoneinfo/Africa...

Hi Aaron,

 

 

The output of date commande is Fri Apr 29 17:57:56 CEST 2011

 

 

timezone is set to /Africa/Tunis.

 

 

As checked this file /Africa/Tunis, I found CET-1,CEST...

 

 

I wanted to modify (by copying for example the content of /CET time or /Africa/Algiers) this file but it was impossible even with root rights,

 

 

So it seems that I must set time zone to UTC.
