trying to use ssh keys to a server pool
Hello...
I am trying to set up key-based auth for SSH to a server pool (2 members in the pool), but am getting the following error:
ssh_exchange_identification: read: Connection reset by peer
From the same client, I can use the ssh key to connect to each of the servers in the pool individually -- just not to the VIP. What should I be looking for to troubleshoot this? I've disabled one of the nodes so that all SSH connections are sent to the first pool member, but there is nothing helpful in /var/log/messages or /var/log/secure.

Are you connecting via IP or hostname?
Is that message from the client? If just the Linux ssh command, have you enabled -v/verbose mode to get more detail?
Any updates regarding this issue? I'm also setting up an virtual server with several pool members for loadbalancing and I encounter the same error.
