Jun 03, 2009Transactional MSMQ and LTM
Hello everyone,
I was curious if anyone had any experince with transactional MSMQ on an LTM box or had any thoughts on our current issue. From a high level, we can't get them to work.
A tcp dump shows that communication is coming from the source to the LTM, and then being properly balanced and sent to a destination machine. The machine responds to the LTM, LTM passes it to client...all should be well.
Unfortunately, no messages are being created. We have enabled SNAT for the virtual server and we saw that the responses include the SNAT address which may be why it isn't working. (requester gets a response but it has the wrong IP address in the MSMQ transmission so it drops it and believe the message didn't go through properly).
Before I setup some routing to automagically get the data there without SNAT, I was hoping someone might be able to provide a "Hey, we're using it and it works great!" kind of message.
Between the additional routing work and the 6 second delay caused from the LTM not responding to an initial UDP checkup, i am not sure if it is worth the work. Any insight or thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
