NimbostratusTo understand ingress traffic flow on F5 for VIP !!
On F5, VIP 172.16.217.15 is configured with pool_member 172.16.218.10. And there is no self IP/VLAN configured on F5 for this VIP, Just a route of 172.16.0.0/12 on F5 which is pointing towards GW 172.16.215.209 (int 1.1, Floating self IP- 172.16.215.210). Also there is floating IP 172.16.218.1 available for the above pool_member.
So I wanted to understand how traffic enter into LB and exit? Please help me to understand this.

Traffic hits the 217.15 VIP and is directed to 218.10 as the 218.0 is a directly connected network. Response from server is towards the F5 which is then processed and sent to the original client.
