To understand ingress traffic flow on F5 for VIP !!

On F5, VIP 172.16.217.15 is configured with pool_member 172.16.218.10. And there is no self IP/VLAN configured on F5 for this VIP, Just a route of 172.16.0.0/12 on F5 which is pointing towards GW 172...

Traffic hits the 217.15 VIP and is directed to 218.10 as the 218.0 is a directly connected network. Response from server is towards the F5 which is then processed and sent to the original client.
