tmsh/bigpipe command to display version

What is the bigpipe and/or tmsh command to display the f5 version ?

Wouldn't that be tmsh show /sys version? Though that may have been changed lately. You could also do tmsh list /sys software or tmsh show /sys software to see what is installed.

tmsh show sys version | head
spares you all the clutter of IDs included if you are running a hotfix :)

In unix mode(Bash) you can fire below command to check version.
cat /VERSION
