tmsh - "list net route-domain" in a partition

We are currently deploying our first couple of 7250v. We are using two vCMP guests and there will be some partitions in them.

Today when I wanted to check that a route-domain existed in a partition on the standby unit nothing showed up. I used the command "list net route-domain".

Since nothing showed up I thouhgt that I had to create it but then it says that it already exists. Modifying said route-domain works.

At the moment we have two partitions and this problem only appears in one of them.

In the GUI it looks ok as far as I can see.

Is this a bug?

  • I tested it but with same result. Maybe I should add that this only appears in the standby unit. The active unit gives the the configuration output from "list net route-domain".

  • So, if you run

cd /; list net route-domain recursive
, what is showing up for each partition on each units?

  • I get the following on the standby unit:

01070712:3: Internal error, can't load folder or nested folder for: /xxxx/yyyy

On the active unit I get the desired result.

I created a support case for this matter and they suggest that we need to rebuild the mcpd binary.

After a possible root cause is found we will try this. I will let you know what happens.
