TMM and HMS Hardware Resources
Hi,
Would anyone be able to explain how TMM and the HMS share resources please? From a hardware point of view TMM is described as a dedicated system and HMS as a seperate subsystem but the TMM software process runs within the HMS so can I assume they share memory and CPU resources? And where the HMS is concerned, on multicore processors, I assume it uses all cores through SMP etc.?

Thanks nitass, I'd seen the first document at least but unfortunately neither provide the clarity I'm looking for. - What_Lies_Bene1

OK, so the lowdown I got was that the HMS only runs on one CPU and has a restricted amount of system RAM assigned.
TMM 'boots' and runs within HMS and would fail if the HMS fails.
