timer event

Hi,

I found an old post in this forum from last year that mentions a timer event

For my application a timer capability would be quite usefull, is this feature still

scheduled for release?

Best Regards,

We were really hoping to get it into the upcoming 9.4 release but we weren't quite able to get it scheduled. Much of the code has been completed, so it will possibly get put into a follow-on release like 9.4.2 or similar (9.4.1 will likely be a hotfix rollup release after 9.4 ships). If you contact support and file what we call an RFE case (request-for-enhancement) it will get attached to the CR representing the work and raise the visibility during the next release's scheduling phase (CR's with associated support cases get a little closer inspection).

  • Hi unRuleY,

thanks for the update. As a workaround we will try to use an external application that sends packets in the desired intervals to a virtual server with a private ip-address.

    Best Regards,
