Throughput vs Resources in Virtual Edition
I wonder if there is a table or calculator to estimate the resource used in a virtualization environment, correlating with the licensed throughput. For example:
If I have a 3GB throughput license and use the LTM module only, how much do I need to allocate from memory and vCPU?
Or if it is a 1GB license of LTM and ASM throughput, what would be the recommendation of allocation in the virtual environment?
I believe that this information is important to know if the virtual environment would accommodate the needs of modules and licensed throughput, and not have to find out how much production would be required in production.

Throughput is not a consideration to be made when provisioning an F5 VE. The only consideration to make is the number of modules you require which will tell you how much RAM you'll need. From there you need 1 CPU per 2GB RAM. Each F5 white paper discussing each flavor of hypervisor will have a chart and documentation that says such. This document concerning hyper-v for example:
