The Failover status of iHealth

Hello everyone….

I have some problem….Hoping guys could help me….

I use setup utility in LTM V11.4.1 to configure Failover and it works,

but when I upload the qkView file to iHealth,

the status in iHealth show that Failover does’t configure….

Could someone explain it? Many thanks!!

  • If you will give more information about you configuration of the failover, you will get more sugestions.

  • Thanks for your advice! I have 2 BigIP 7000S platforms and the module contain LTM V11.4.1 Following the initial set up flow(Run the Setup Utility) to create Sync-Fail status (I have created Device-Group and choose the Network failover function) Power off or changing the platform status Active-Standby to Standby-Active and working… But when I upload the qkview to iHealth… The list in iHealth Status->Failover->Network->Peer IP address show that I did’t configure Peer IP…. Here is the Link https://www.dropbox.com/s/tklth7xjmycwrn5/sampo.png But I truly trust each other and create Device-Group let failover function up… Why the peer IP show nothing? (I use LTM v10.1 VE upload again and the Peer IP is correct)
  • Hi All: I know this is not a question~ Because the Failover just working... But this question challenged from my customer , So ~

    This is the answer maybe....

In V10: If someone create Failover status , you must configure the other device first. The status in iHealth-Failover-Network-Peer IP is correct so.

In V11: The new concept about Failover is Device Group , you can create more than 1 device. This is the reason why status in iHealth-Failover-Network-Peer IP show nothing.
