Telnet sessions disconnect after an hour using VPN

we have a VPN configuration setup on using F5 APM (11.5.2 Build 0.30.141), some of the users once connected to this VPN establish Telnet sessions to internal Linux servers. These users complain if the telnet session is kept inactive for around 1 hour the session disconnects but the VPN stays connected.

 

Any suggestions?
