TCP timeout

I had this issue, and I had to change the timeout in my TCP profile to solve the issue.     My question is what is the recommended TCP timeout value when deploying exchange 2010.

hI have been attempting to find documentation regarding timeout values. Pg 65/66 only mentions the tcp timeout for rpc, but what about activesync? From what i understand microsoft recommends 30 minutes on firewalls, however the aformentioned design guides states that activesync virtuals should use the default of 300 seconds.

 

 

The following solution states thetcp timeout should be 1800 seconds
