Tcl command glob is disabled in 12.x and 13.x
Hi all,
According the article K36322151 List of disabled Tcl commands for iRules (12.x - 13.x) the glob command is disabled. I used this command a lot together with the switch command. Does that mean that I have to used the string match command instead the -glob option to have the same functionality? What happens if you upgrade to 12.x or 13.x to the glob command in the IRules? Disabled means fall back to the default -exact match?
Best regards,

Hello Erwin,
The command "glob" is disabled in 12 and higher. Not the argument "-glob" of the command "switch"
You can take a look to the manual page of command "glob" here:
https://www.tcl.tk/man/tcl8.4/TclCmd/glob.htm
So you can upgrade without fear.
Hope it helps
Regards
