I have a quick question. We manage a f5 device for a customer and do not give the customer direct access to the BigIP. How can I configure the BigIP to send syslog info to their syslog server?

what kind of access do we need on the remote server side? Do we need to create a /var/log/ltm as well?
Also SOL5525 states v9.4.2 and later you must use bigpipe command. Can I still use iRules? Thanks!

bsdpruegelknabeWith 9.4.2 and above you have to use "bigpipe syslog remote server " (config will be stored within bigip_sys.conf IIRC) and therfore you can only use _one_ syslogserver. Stupid!- Matt_H_58911Thanks, this what I needed... You rock!
