syslog.conf vs syslog-ng.conf

Hi All,

 

I have this statement in my v4 box syslog.conf

 

 

send alerts and parse syslogs to ldapswitcher script for further analysis

 

local1.*|| /config/scripts/_ldapswitcher.sh

 

 

wondering how to configure this in syslog-ng.conf.

    What's _ldapswitcher.sh doing with the alerts? Also, this might be more appropriate eyes in the advanced config section (Click here).
