Syslog Change the information sent

Hi,

 

There is a way to add the IP address that F5 use to send the logs inside to each one?

 

The manager of the log see the hostname of the F5 but he want see the ip address too

    Hi dirome,

     

    I believe this can be done under System ›› Logs : Configuration : Remote Logging in the GUI. There is an optional field named "Local IP". You will have to manually enter the IP into that field and after that the IP should be included. Please also note the following line from the following solution article.

     

    "Note: For BIG-IP systems in a HA configuration, the non-floating self IP address is recommended if using a TMM based IP address."
