Strange traceroute behavior to Virtual Sever VIP

Hello, I have a self-ip on my BigIP running 9.x that is 10.7.24.1/22. When I do a traceroute from a machine behind it on the 10.7.25.x network (or 24 network for that matter) I see multiple hops but...

If you have a Ip forwarder VIP configured, you need to exclude the IP address you are using for the standard VIPs.
