Steps to change IP addresses on HA pair

I have a pair of ltm3900 that I need to change the internal interface IP address, which I am also using for Mirroring Addresses. I want to make sure both do not go active. Should I add new IP address...

From guide: "A BIG-IP unit enters an Offline state when you actively force the unit offline. The Offline state indicates to both units that the offline unit is unavailable for accepting network traffic. This feature is useful when you need to take an active unit out of service in order to perform standard system maintenance tasks on that unit." There is known issue SOL 12370
