standard VIP L7 for Web Proxies
Hi, we´d need help to build a VIP L7 to redirect Web Proxy traffic: Users´d use this vip as it were the real proxy in their navigators. The desirable way of the VIP functioning would be: If traffic goes to the destination web sites of *.jccm.es domain , this is redirected to the real proxy 172.16.75.14 otherwise, the traffic shouldn´t embedded in a proxy request; in this second case we don´t want to use a proxy and so the ip packet should be rebuild by the f5 as if the original user request hadn´t been made for a proxy but the destination web site.
Does anyone give me details about that irule?. Any support will be pretty appreciate!
Thanks a lot. Asensio.

Hi Asensio,
I guess the most elegant way would be to use a PROXY-PAC file to route the traffic based on the destination URL to your Proxy or use a direct connection to the destination site.

Is this suiteable for you?
