SSL/TLS Ciphers/Protocol Disabling

If we are disabling SSLv3 in cipher string, is it not same as blocking protocol? Is it still necessary to block SSLv3 protocols in Options? I am a bit confused with the terms. Sorry if this Q sounds silly.

    Hi,

     

    From my perspective if you pretty sure to disable SSLv3. I suggest to disable SSLv3 protocol in SSL Profile under options list.
