SSL TPS license limits on 4096 bit key size versus RSA 4096 bit key size

The article K6475 mentions only 20% of the license is available for RSA key sizes over 4096 bits and greater

Does it mean

  1. if the box can support 4000 SSL TPS connections , when using RSA 4096 bit keys we get only 800 SSL TPS connections?

  2. Does this rule also apply for key sizes that are 4096 bits and NOT RSA?

That is correct. This is because handling 4096 bit keys requires approximately 5 times the CPU of a 2048 bit key.

    As stated in K6475,

The key-based SSL TPS limit applies per core and only to RSA ciphers.
