SSL server vs client profile

What is the difference between assigning SSL Server and SSL Client profiles? In my current LTM, I have a lot of SSL certificates, but only a few are defined to SSL Client profiles- whereas only 1 or ...

You will most commonly assign your web servers SSL Certificates to a Client SSL profile by importing the associated SSL certificate and Key into the BIG-IP and assigning them to the custom Client SSL profile that will be assigned to the Virtual Server load balancing this traffic.

 

The Server SSL does not typically contain any SSL certificates or keys as can be seen when viewing the default serverssl profile configuration settings for Certificate and Key which state "None."
